Job Overview:
As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
You will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring efficiency, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Key
Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables.
Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about menu items.
Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders to tables.
Order Management:
Enter orders accurately into the POS (Point of Sale) system.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
Communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen.
Upselling and Promotion:
Suggest appetizers, desserts, and specialty drinks to enhance the dining experience.
Promote specials and seasonal menu items.
Table Maintenance:
Ensure tables are set properly with clean utensils, napkins, and condiments.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
Reset tables promptly after guests leave.
Billing and Payment:
Present bills to guests and process payments accurately.
Handle cash and credit card transactions securely.
Resolve any billing discrepancies or customer concerns regarding payments.
Teamwork and Collaboration:
Assist colleagues during peak hours to ensure smooth operations.
Communicate effectively with kitchen and management staff.
Work collaboratively to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.
Ability to understand and or speak spanish.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Basic math skills for handling payments and making change.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations is a plus.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Lift and carry trays of food and beverages weighing up to 25 pounds.
Perform repetitive motions such as bending, reaching, and grasping.
