We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Activities Director to join our team.
As the Activities Director, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of engaging activities for our residents.
Your role will be crucial in promoting social interaction, physical well-being, and mental stimulation among our senior residents.
QualificationsoHigh School diploma requiredoMinimum of 3 years of experience working with the elderly and disabled in a social or recreational program requiredoCompletion of the Activity Leader course designed specifically for this position and approved by the State of California as requiredoBLS certification required ResponsibilitiesoThe Activities Coordinator position will be responsible for oversight of the Skilled Nursing Activities and ensuring the Activities Team carries out the activity program as designedoThe Activities Coordinator is a member of the Interdisciplinary team (IDT) and is responsible for actively participating in all care coordination activities including Assessments and Care PlanningoResponsibilities include coordinating, supervising and implementing all activities and programs for frail elderly and functionally impaired adults at the skilled nursing facilityoThe Activities Coordinator is responsible for utilizing variety of techniques including but not limited to sensory stimulation, arts, crafts, reading, sports, games, dance and movement, drama, music, and community outingsoThe activity program shall also provide a planned schedule of social and other purposeful independent or group activitiesoThis position is responsible for the development and implementation of daily, monthly and special events activities, therapeutic activity program, to improve or maintain physical, cognitive, social, emotional and spiritual functioning in order to facilitate full participation in lifeoActivities Coordinator may promote remote technology depending on the participants' comfort level, electronic devices, and interests About the Company:
